Less than one coaching session. One sitting. One report you keep.
“You're not short of ideas. You just keep choosing the ones that work against how you're built.”
An example of what it sees.
You've got the drive. The direction is the hard part.
Maybe you've already built a business. Maybe you're running one now and wondering what's next. Maybe you're still employed but know you want something of your own.
Different places — same question. And it isn't a motivation problem. It's an information problem: you can't see your own patterns from inside them.
Most capable people try to solve it by doing more — another idea, another experiment, the familiar move one more time. It works, sort of. It's just slow, and none of it answers the actual question.
You're not lost.
You're between things.
Nobody sees their own patterns.
That's the gap TrueFaro closes.
A conversation, not a questionnaire.
A guided interview, about 90 minutes, in one sitting. It asks the questions you wouldn't think to ask yourself — what you've done, what keeps pulling at you, what drains you, and what you'd actually want to build.
01
Your Portrait
An honest mirror of who you are now. Not a type, not a label. You, specifically.
02
Your Directions
Directions that fit how you're built — your own ideas pressure-tested, plus ones you hadn't considered.
03
Your First Moves
One small, concrete step for each direction — something you can test in the real world this week.
Faster than coaching, more specific than a course, more personal than a community.
A report you download and keep. Clean ending. No subscription.
Why not just ask an AI chatbot?
You can. You'll get ideas — plausible, generic, and built entirely from what you told it. A chatbot works for you, so it accepts your version of yourself. And the story you tell yourself is the problem.
TrueFaro doesn't take your word for it. It asks in a deliberate order, pushes for the specific moment, remembers every word, and reads the patterns you can't see from inside.
Not another open-ended chat. One sitting, one honest read, a result you keep.
You can't ask yourself the questions you don't know to ask.
The story you tell yourself is the problem.
Not a coach.
Not a personality test.
Not a magic answer.
TrueFaro won't tell you what to do with your life — and it won't flatter you. It shows its reasoning and asks you to push back. Some directions will be strong. Some only promising. Some may need to be killed. Being told the truth is the whole point.
Built on evidence-based methods — Motivational Interviewing, Critical Incident Technique, Self-Determination Theory — quietly doing the work underneath.
Test everything.
Keep what's true.
Who it's for
You don't need to have sold a company — or even started one yet. You just need real experience and the honesty to look at it.
The common thread is one question: what do I do with my productive energy from here?
The founder who sold, tried a few things, none landed — genuinely stuck.
The owner who's built something solid — and is wondering whether to grow it, sell it, or start again.
The employee who knows they want to build something of their own — but not which thing.
The serial starter with too many ideas and no clear filter for which ones actually fit.
The high-achiever who looks settled from the outside — and privately knows they're not doing what they want.

3
Get your directions
Directions worth testing, drawn from what you've actually got — each with an honest read and a first move you can make this week.
The kind of thing it sees
TrueFaro
When you say “fully actualized” — what does that actually look like?
You
A business making real money that's not a physical product. The current business is our bread and butter, it works — but I wouldn't go into manufacturing again. It's too hard.
What it sees
“Your only working venture breaks your own rule. You've ruled out physical products — yet the sushi business is the one thing that pays. Why? Its distribution is structural: same buyers, every week. The real lesson isn't 'no physical products' — it's 'no ventures where finding the customer is left for later.'”
A real exchange, mid-interview.

Why I built this
After selling my company, I spent years working out what came next. I'd built and run businesses in Australia and Japan — ideas and energy weren't the problem. Knowing which direction actually fit was.
Before that, I spent seventeen years in executive search — assessing where someone would do their best work, and why.
TrueFaro brings those two things together. It's the tool I needed, and it didn't exist.
